After we install Oracle BI server on local machine and reboot, the first difference you would notice is the start of OC4J under the command prompt window automatically. I was researching today about Oracle BI on the internet and came across New York City government website showing its CPR Tool available to public based on Oracle BI. Today I stepped my foot on Oracle Business Intelligence (Oracle BI) formerly known as Siebel Analytics. Though I have used Siebel Analytics before, I had no clue about how Oracle BI as to how it would look or how different it could be. Today I installed Oracle BI 10g all on my own without too much hassle and the results were impressive on how easy it is. So I decided to blog this for other people’s reference.
