I came across this job website indeed.com which shows job trends based on number of jobs posted in different websites. It grabs job listing from various websites and lists it at this one single website. Based on a keyword search it searches the number of listings each month and shows the trend. (more…)

After we install Oracle BI server on local machine and reboot, the first difference you would notice is the start of OC4J under the command prompt window automatically. This could become annoying after a while. The reason why this starts up automatically is because it has been setup in the registry. (more…)

I was researching today about Oracle BI on the internet and came across New York City government website showing its CPR Tool available to public based on Oracle BI. CPR (Citywide Performance Reporting) is a tool available online to public about city services performance. The city made an OBIEE based dashboard available to public online. (more…)

Today I stepped my foot on Oracle Business Intelligence (Oracle BI) formerly known as Siebel Analytics. Though I have used Siebel Analytics before, I had no clue about how Oracle BI as to how it would look or how different it could be. Today I installed Oracle BI 10g all on my own without too much hassle and the results were impressive on how easy it is. So I decided to blog this for other people’s reference.
